I had no issues installing 9.1 originally and upgrading to 9.1.1.1. Now, with 9.5, I admit to being a tad confused.
Do I need to uninstall 9.1.1.1 or can I just install over it (to the same directories)?
Installation Manager wants me to make a new package for it bit not sure what that means.

Terminology is a many splendoured thing, hah!

In IM-speak, a 'package' is a version. Ish. So you have a package
probably named some useless gibberish like 'IBM Software Delivery
Platform' instead of 'RDi 9.1' Ish.

Because 9.1 can peacefully coexist with 9.5, IM needs to create another
set of folders, and for whatever reason, they choose to do so by
creating another package. This one will be given the lilting
nomenclature 'IBM Software Delivery Platform_1'.

I strongly suggest changing the name when you install 9.5.

So.
No, you don't need to uninstall.
No, don't install 9.5 on top of 9.1.
Yes, let IM create a new package.
No, don't use the default name for that package.

Can I reuse my existing workspace or does this require an export/import/migration?

I reused mine, but I always make a copy of it first. And I don't let
Windows keep the stupid name 'Copy of workspace' I call it 'Workspace
9.1.1.1 final'. Whoops, sorry for the editorial.
