I did copy source over to another source file to compare! But, I did it with Green-Screen...

Green-Screen Sort is very easy & Fast:
1.) put a 12 by all the screen formats in SDA. (Approx. 17 formats in this case)
2.) Put a Question Mark by a field & <enter> (Make SDA think you changed it)
3.) By on the screen design F4=Fields & F6=Sort.
4.) F12 to cancel to go to the next screen format.

Fast & Quick!!!! <Joy Joy>

Sadly, I don't know how to quickly sort all the formats in RDi 9.5.0.2. <Frown>

If you know a quick way and easy way inside of RDI, please let me know...

Inside of the screen designer, I know that I can Right click on screen and select sort... But, I have to "change" a field, before it will sort...
<frown>

I just tried it on 9.5.0.2 and don't have to actually change the screen
in order for the Right click > Sort to actually sort the source. I
click on the record format name, then right click the 'screen' > sort,
then click the next record format, etc. I forgot that I can easily
switch between the Design and Source tabs to observe the changes in real
time. I usually use Lpex to edit displays...

PS. Even after using RDI for 10-years, I am still stuck going back to Green Screen now and then... :(

That's OK by me. We all need to use what works for us personally. And
'personally' means that we can each like different things and still be
friends :-)
