Yeah, the delete key stopped working for me today too. <frown>
I bite my lip, counted to 10, and then try highlighting and using Alt+D (Delete) to remove. Since back-space did not work either....

I have installed the latest test fix patch, but I guess I need to try it again from scratch....

And my co-worker asked me if I encountered the white screen of death. I did encounter it over the weekend, while working from home. I lost some of my work....

Oh well, it happens, restart and continue on... <smirk>

Restarting RDI 9.5 seems to fix all. <Big Smile>

PS. Still better than SEU! And got some free cookies for the holidays, so that probably calmed me down... :)

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Delete Key Stops Working

Back in October, Tim asked:
Has anyone else had the situation where the delete key stops working? I can't track down but it has happened several times to me. If I close down RDi it's back working again.
------------------------
Yup – stopped working for me too the last couple of days. Not experienced this before with RDi 9.5. At a client’s office using a laptop to remote desktop to a PC in another room. The remote PC had RDi 9.5. installed. Throughout the day editing different source members with LPEX, the DELETE key would cease to work. Restarting RDi would cure the problem. Unable to duplicate the circumstances, but it <may> have occurred when resizing the LPEX view.

A separate problem arose when maximising/restoring the LPEX view. The Remote Systems view would refresh with a load of New Connection icons only – none of the Connections/Subsystems/Filters/Items etc. Hovering the mouse down the list of New Connection icons would restore the Connection/Subsystem/Filter icons and text. Strange – never seen this before!

Oh – and we’ve had the “Milky Screen of Death” at least a couple of times a day, Ken!

Brian.
