Changing it back to Classic (From Rational IDE) works much better thanks Doug - it brings back the shadow split line etc. that I had before. Also makes the tabs show up better - but of course I haven’t yet found if it screws anything else up!

There is a theme option.
Try changing the theme.
You might find one that works better on your system

After reading this Terry I really looked closely and you are right - but
the effect is so slight that I’m still dropping it in the wrong place. Very
slight thickening of the line is all I see. Nowhere near as easy as on the
old version - but I’m guessing this is an Eclipse “enhancement”.

Thanks for the hint.

Jon, when I drag the tabs to split the screen I get a (?) double line to
show where the split is.

subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Intermittent UI Issues in RDi 9.5

I have no CM software in my install and I have seen this several times.
Sometimes it is temporary and a click in the appropriate area corrects it -
other times I have to minimize/maximize etc. to get it to correct. I have
also found that with 9.5 the drag-the-tab method for splitting the screen
does not show up the arrowheads/blue outline so it is really hard to know
when you are in the right position.
