I’ve done something similar for now Mark - I’ve created Template versions with a slightly different name (to avoid driving myself nuts when testing) to use as the foundation for LikeRec’s etc.

I just create the files in my dev environment so that I can compile against them. I use the library list anyway, so if they are in a different place at run time, it isn't a big deal.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Compiling SQLRPGLE programs in RDi

This is a first for me so I’m hoping someone else has experienced this.

I have a number of SQLRPGLE programs that utilize tables in QTEMP. Compiling them in the green screen is OK because I can create the tables as needed. Not quite so simple to create them in the RDi server job though.

I can think of a number of possible solutions but figured I’d see if anyone else has experienced this. And if so, how do you handle it?
