Thanks Vern. I pointed our BP to the link. I dunno if they understand about
the ADTS upgrade, but they have the info to figure it out.

Michael - look especially at the link about upgrades and ADTS - there's a
presentation in there that gives you licensed product feature codes and
passport advantage product IDs, what you use depends on how you are buying
the upgrades.

Upgrade price for fixed license is $770 as of last March - much better
than list price of $1100+

You are wise in being prepared to help your BP.
So here is a wiki that should give you background info.

https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/W5655eb35823a_4511_8970_3f665cc5d557/page/How%20to%20purchase%20RDi

Some of the specific numbers are for 9.1, I will try to get them
updated.

Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Looks like we're going to get additional licenses for the developers
here.
We currently have 3; I think we're planning on getting 3-5 more. Our BP
will be getting these licenses, and I don't think he knows the rules and
regulations of upgrading RDi and the different licensing models.

Anyone have links to some good pages that would explain it? We currently
have 3 licenses and are running 8.5.

Thanks for the help!
