Yes, that is true. First I got RDi 9.1 installed with IM 1.7.2. Then RDi 9.1 has been updated to 9.1.1.1 and eventually I installed RDP 8.0 and WDSCi 7.0.

For RDP 8.0 and WDSCi 7.0 I added the reporitories of the installation packages and the repositories of the latest update packs. The installation ended up with RDP 8.0.3.1 and WDSCi 7.0.0.8.

Now I am waiting for RDi 9.5 to be installed by our IT departement.

Thomas.

I use the latest Installation Manager to run all versions (7.0, 8.0,
9.1.1.1) that I have on my PC.

I download and unpack the zip files and then add the new repositories to the IM in order to install a new version.

The directory structure looks like that:

c:\IBM\SDP_070\
c:\IBM\SDP_080\
c:\IBM\SDP_091\
c:\IBM\SDP_Shared\

RDi 9.5 will be installed soon (hopefully).

You are able to use the most current version of IM (that would be 1.8.3 on Windoz) to support WDSC 7.0.0? My previous experience (and that was some time ago) was that trying to install WDSC with IM 1.7 already installed failed.

I'll be backing up my workspace anyway, so I may just overlay my existing IM and try things from there.

Thanks.
