world, have an option to invoke Perl-style regexes.)

I don't mean to shoot down everyone's ideas. Basic regex is way, way
better than no regex. And I definitely would like to plug the
Unix-style tools available in QShell and PASE, which are without a
doubt underutilized in the midrange community at large (including
myself).
