Paul,

We use to run WDSC v7 on our Windows 7 PC's. The connection to the System
i would fail until we did the following:

Right-click on the WDSC shortcut and select "Properties".

Select the "Compatibility" tab,

Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box, select
"Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" from the drop-down box, and then click on
the OK button.

Hope this works for you.

Recently we purchased licenses for RDi v9.1. We wanted all the new
features that have been added since WDSC v7. In particular, the syntax
highlighting for all the new free-format specifications that have been
added. Once learned, the productivity gains are well worth the cost.

Since I have Windows 7 on my PC this product no longer works. I get the
error message EVFC9112E when attempting to connect. Is there a solution ?
Everything worked ok with XP. I did manage to ping the AS400 from my PC
ok

Thanks
