Re: Can't open DSPF and PRTF from SVN repository view

My bad, it is okay now. A colleague pointed out where I got it wrong.

In the preferences > General > Editors > File Associations the .DSPF and .PRTF are using Screen and Report Designers respectively as the default editors. These should be defaulted to Remote Systems LPEX editor.

I'm sure this fixes yours too, Arco.

I'm on version 9.1 and using SVN and I am getting the same error when I try to open the source in the way you described.
However I do not use that view very often. Most of the time I am working from the iProject and that works fine.

I'm using SVN as my source control management tool and I can view the
various file types in the repository view except for DSPF and PRTF
which displays a "Failed to create the part's controls" error.
Clicking on the Details button displays the error log below.

I've also searched the web on possible solutions and only got a
reference to APAR/RFE SE50311 (

if I'm missing anything in my installation or if this fix hasn't been
