Interesting - this is the error I have been seeing...

RSEF1002
Operation Failed. File systeminput or output error.
Message reported from file system: Unexpected error retrieving list with {0}

Uninstalling iSphere also fixed my SaveAs issue.

The error occurs when either "iSphere for RDi 8.0+" or "iSphere Tasks Tags for RDi 8.0+" are all installed.

The Error Log shows three extra messages:
RSEF1002 org.eclipse.rse.ui
Error in save as org.eclipse.rse.ui
QSYSObjectService.getEditingCCSID: library/file(member) org.eclipse.rse.ui

It is hard to believe that iSphere is responsible for the error. But I agree, that from your point of view it looks like that.

Is there anything interesting in the Eclipse error log? (Open view -> General -> Error log)

Did you try to install iSphere without the RSE plug-in and/or without the Task Tags plug-in? It was interesting to know which one of these three plug-ins (Core / RSE / Task Tags) is responsible for the error.

Thomas.
