I have dug into it

The IBM i System Debugger does not support SEP on OPM program, and so
neither can RDi.

Edmund - I could be wrong - have been once or twice this year - I don't
think SEPs work for OPM programs.

Now I think someone suggested putting an ILE wrapper around the OPM
program.

I did try SBREAK in a green debug session for a CLP program - I got a
syntax error message with very little information.

Help for the debug command line still shows SBREAK for OPM programs -
would be nice if that were suppressed when not allowed.

Someone else please confirm or refute!!

Vern

Sorry, I didn't realize that limitation. Thanks for catching that Mark.
I will have to go educate myself on why that is.

SEP works for OPM programs? That wasn't always true. What release did
that
capability become available?

No STRRSESVR is not required when using SEP for ILE or non-ILE.
Buck is just saying that he can't confirm non-ILE from his experience.

Ah. Good to know. So, STRRSESVR is required for non-ILE programs then?

When I use the SEP debugger I don't use STRRSESVR. I only ever debug
RPG ILE because I always convert RPG/400 code before making changes. I
mention that because debugging RPG/400 is a blind spot for me.
