Good info, Thomas, Buck. I'll give this a whirl later this p.m. and report
back.

With respect to not needing an installer, do you mean not using the
included Eclipse 'Install New Software' installer? I didn't think that
needs admin rights, but perhaps the issue is the folders where the
plugins are going. (../features and ../plugins) If these are in a
virtualised directory, you will need admin rights with or without the
Eclipse installer.

I've been lucky. All the places where end users have been stripped of
admin rights on their PCs, the company gave developers some leeway,
although I certainly understand why they prefer not to.

Also, I noticed there is a library to install on the server. Devs aren't
allowed to restore savefiles here. Can't use FTP. The only practical
way
I can do this is to copy/paste source through an RDi session and compile
on
my own.

Well, you could download the source from the Sourceforge project, paste
it into source members via RDi and compile it with the Rexx script that
comes with it. You might use a scripting tool like Auto Hot Key to
automate a lot of that, although that would entail loading another
program on your PC...

If I could get the sysadmin to load the save file (vs using the built-in
iSphere library FTP save / restore mechanism) it's in the iSphere
download under ./plugins/biz.isphere.core_v.r.m.jar/Server/ISPHERE
