The instructions basically have you open a DOS window, navigate to the IBM Installation Manager directory and then point to the xml file in the unzipped directory. You'll have less typing if you unzip to a short folder tree.

Also, before you start IM, exit RDi.

It installed fine; I'll be reporting some results on Monday.
