I can confirm 9.1.1 does not copy text after selecting and the cursor is
moved into the prefix area. You have to move the cursor into the prefix
area using the left arrow key, tab key or mouse clicking.

Steps to reproduce

Select text in edit area.
Move cursor to prefix area
Press Ctrl+C.


You can right click and choose to copy and it will copy your selected
text.

I'm on 9.1.1 and will test this but I confess I don't understand the
steps. I pretty much use the cursor keys to select text, and when doing
that I can't move to the prefix area and keep the text selected.

Could you post the steps you're taking so I can try it myself?
