What do you use to start RDi/RBD? Is it a shortcut on your desktop or start menu? Make sure there are no command-line arguments specifying the workspace in those shortcuts.

Otherwise I would expect RDi/RBD to prompt for a workspace if you are absolutely certain that option is in your preferences.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi 9.1 and roaming profiles

I have RDi / RBD 9.1 installed on my Windows 7 laptop. I seem to be having an issue where RDi / RBD does not prompt for which workspace to open with I start it up and it always seems to default to a workspace in a folder on my PC that I believe is referred to as a "roaming profile" folder. The folder it defaults to is:

\\ops-fs-1\OPS-Users$\msoucy\IBM\rationalsdp\workspace\<file:///\\ops-fs-1\OPS-Users$\msoucy\IBM\rationalsdp\workspace\>

Has anyone come across this issue before, and how do I fix it? I checked the preferences in RDi / RBD and I have the checkbox checked for "Prompt for Workspace at Startup".
