I know its not what you wanted but have you tried to use the "Remote
Search" tab in the search dialog? You can create a Folder link to the
IFS, put in a search in pattern and a file name pattern.

Thanks, Matt

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Shortcut for Opening IFS Files?

Hello,

I know that instead of scrolling through a long list of objects in
'Remote Systems', I can just press Ctrl-Shift-A to get a dialog where I
can type the lib/file/member that I want to open. I love this, it
saves me TONS of time and frustration.

Is there an equivalent for IFS files? I know I can create a filter,
etc. But it would be much nicer to just type the pathname for each
file instead of having to scroll through an open lists of filters,
objects, etc.

Thanks!
