Forwarded this a few days ago but it doesn’t seem to have “got through”. Trying once more – apologies if I have duplicated.
Using a trial of RDi 9.1. I have encountered an “annoyance” which may be Preference someplace, or just a change within Eclipse. Anyone else encountered this – or can suggest a Preference I am missing?
I am using the standard RSE Perspective. I open a source member for edit. I maximise the edit panel. At this point all the other Views become “Fast Views” in toolbars around the border of the RSE Perspective. So far, so good.
Once finished editing, I save the source changes and close the edit panel, WITHOUT minimising the edit panel. The result is a large, empty Perspective with the toolbars still around the border. I now have to restore each individual toolbar – not very productive.
I could minimise the edit panel BEFORE closing it, then all the Views are as desired. But I shouldn’t have to remember to do this.
Previous versions of RDi would restore all the Views automatically when the maximised edit panel is closed. Has anyone else noticed the change? Anyone know of a Preference? (I’ve looked, but cannot find anything.)
Thanks in advance for any help.
