Do you create your .rpgle PC file separately and then copy all the code from the original source and paste it into the new .rpgle file with Notepad as well?

I also tried FTPing the workspace file and it still puts the line and date into the SRCDTA.

I guess I should just make a savf. But I like being able to grab out of my workspace. Oh well.

What I usually do in that case is to create the source member on the i with the RPGLE source type, open the new member using RDi, then open the .rple source on your PC using notepad (or some other text editor), use the COPY ALL function and then Paste into your source member in RDi.
Save the source in RDi and you are done.

I was going to send a .rpgle source to someone, copied out of my

requests. Then I wondered... how do I get that onto the i? I thought I
could open it in RDI and then save it to a source file. But, when I
open it up in RDI, it puts the date/time from SRCSEQ & SRCDAT in the beginning
of the source. Any suggestions?
