I think there is a way to change your default LPEX Action from open in Edit-Mode to Open-Browse mode...

Can anyone share that setting inside RDI? I assume it is windows/Preferences, but so far I have been unable to find it...

I'm a bit swamped at the moment, so I don't have a ready-to-use solution
but you can use the editor command 'set readonly on' to disable changes
to a source member. I was trying to suss out how to tap into the
IBM-provided 'Open a member' class but a cursory look didn't get me very
far. My idea was to write a new user action 'Browse' that would use the
IBM 'Open' and the editor set action to make the buffer readonly. Sorry
for the incompleteness; hope someone can get somewhere with the idea.
