Edmund,

In SQL I use the "--" to do right hand comments...
<grin>

So, extending it out would be NO PROBLEM for me!

When using "Totally-Free" I have to use "//" for regular RPGLE/SQLRPGLE.

So, extend out SQL if you can in future Release!
<Big Smile>

OK Ken, so you are the first one who would be impacted.
We will make this an option in the preferences for the SQL formatter and you would have to turn it off or your right hand comments will get pulled into your SQL.
Of course you could prefix your comments with // and they would be unambiguously understood as comments.
Or, as you probably are doing today, you could turn off the SQL formatter.

I use Right-hand comments all the time, for over 20-years...

I guess once I got started on it, and never quit...

I even use right Hand comments on SQL Statements...
