In addition, Alt-U to unselect that block. (Ctrl-F5 will unselect as well.)

Alt+Z to paste/overlay....
I do the Alt+R to select a rectangle block, and then use Alt-Z to Paste/Overlay the block...
One of my co-workers still use SEU, because she can cut and paste a block with a mouse...
She had used RDI for a few months, but has sense gone back to SEU. Because it is simpler...
I can only lead them to RDI, I cannot make them use it... <Big Frown>

Question: You list Alt+R for rectangle select. Is there such a thing as rectangle paste, or is Alt+R only useful for deleting blocks of text?
btw, thanks. Great guide. )

Of course just for the purpose it doesn't include Shift-Ctrl-D <grin> - but it has many other useful ones.
