Just a thought:

For my SQLRPGLE compiler options I have the following:

Precompiler options:
*EVENTF
*SEQSRC
*SECLVL

RPG preprocessor options:
*LVL1

Debug view:
*SOURCE

IIRC, the *LVL1 is needed to support /copy within in the code.
