Column-sensitive editing appears to be the cause of some SQL formatting
errors. Turing it off on my V8.5.1 instance (Preferences | Remote Systems
LPEX Editor) stopped the loss of source code and properly formatted a
variety of statements.

I'll try it on my V9.0.1 if the trial period hasn't expired.
