I was wondering if anyone else is having this program with RDi 9.0.1. We
are on version 7.1 of the Operating System. The verify connection option
came back saying everything was successful. I also have the Update
production files checkbox checked as well.
I was using SEP to debug a program on our production partition. After
stepping through the program and using the monitor tab to review the
important variables, I removed the program from the Service Entry Points
tab. I select the little eraser and the entry disappeared from the list.
I modified the program, recompiled it and tried to add it back to the
service entry point display. When I did this RDi gave a message saying
that I was trying to reference an object that no longer existed. I then
tried to end the debug server, and I then get a message saying that
Communication required by Service Entry Point function dropped. Service
Entry Point(s) set by user xxxxxxxxxx at server xxxxxxxxx will be removed.
The only response is OKAY.
My question is why would the debug server still be thinking that the
program is still being used in Service Entry Points after I removed it
from the list?
Is this a known issue with RDi 9.0.1?
Once I restarted the DEBUG sever, I was able to add the program back to
Service Entry Points.
Thanks,
