Chris,
Before you get rid of your old PC, just copy your workspace to somewhere
that you can get to after you no longer have the system.
After you get RDi installed on your new PC, before you start it up, copy
the backup copy of your workspace to the new PC.
When you start RDi on the new PC, just point it to your restored
workspace. All you filters and connections will be there.

Hi all,

So I'm getting a new work PC. I am currently running RDi 9.0.1. I have
two questions about this:

1. Is anyone running this on Window 8.1? If so, any gotchas?

2. In RSE, I have dozens of Filters (mostly IBM i member filters) on
a couple of different Systems. Is there any way I can save these and
restore them to my new installation when it happens?

I haven't gotten too much "under the skin" of RDi; I just use it.

Thank you

PS: Thanks to all who responded to a prior query of mine about a member
that wouldn't come up in the Outline. I never really got that figured out.
I have a couple of members that behave this way. I don't really have the
time to fiddle around with PMRs or anything like that. I find the IBM
Support site to be...problematic. (That's the nicest thing I can say.)
Once I get to an actual person, they're really great.
