Ok, better to be lucky.
1) Don't know how but Outline went "missing",
and I could only find using Ctrl-F7 (Buck's idea)
2) Finally did Window - Save Perspective As to
create MyRSE.
3) MyRSE was a perfect clone and had the "missing"
Outline which was perfectly useless.
4) In preparation for switching to a clean workspace
(Paul's idea) I then switched back to the original,
"out of the box" RSE perspective and there it was,
the Outline view, perfectly visible . . .
