The APAR was addressing the order in which the mainline procedure appeared.
(It should appear before other subprocedures)
What Kurt is asking is something that has not been thought of. He did the
right thing in opening an RFE.

Did it somehow identify it as the Main Procedure in addition to the
procedure appearing first? I think that an additional visual indicator
would be nice. I don't' believe I used MAIN prior to 8.5.1 so I don't know
exactly how it looked then.

FYI - APAR SE56929 is "RDI 9.0 RPGLE LIVE OUTLINE SHOWS MAIN PROCEDURE OUT
OF PLACE ". Prior to version 8.5.1, the main procedure was displayed in the
outline before the subprocedures. At version 8.5.1 the main procedure moved
after the subprocedures in the outline. The fix for this was supposed to be
in release 9.0 but somehow was missed. The APAR can be viewed here:

Kurt

A question - I don't have anything using the MAIN keyword right now - when
I don't have that, there is a clearly marked "Main Procedure" section.

Is that not present when we use the MAIN keyword?

Thx
Vern
