I have noticed that when I am in the LPEX editor, that it seems like trailing blanks are not being trimmed. I am using RDi 9.0.1. I distinctly remember when using earlier versions, even WDSC, that when I was in the editor, and I pressed the END key on my keyboard, that the cursor went to the last character of the line I was on. Now I see when I press END, that the cursor goes to the end of the last space on the line.

They'll get trimmed when you save if you have the preference set to do
it. Preferences > LPEX Editor > Save, Trim tailing blanks

I myself have been trained by years using Microsoft operating systems to
press Ctrl-S every time I take my fingers off the keyboard. It's
probably a bad habit that I should break.

Also, when I press CTRL+S to split a line, on prior versions, the text to the right of the cursor would be pushed to the next line, and would be left justified, so the beginning of the text was in column 1. Now, when I press CTRL+S, the text is moved to the next line in the exact same position.

I never cared for the default where a split would shove the end portion
all the way right, so I remapped it in WDSC. In my WDSC 7.0.0.8, I have
the following mappings (Preferences > LPEX Editor > User Key Actions):

a-s splitAndShift
a-s-s split

In RDi 9.0.1 I have:

a-s-s splitLine

If it's your first time setting your own key mappings, the thing that
burnt me so many times is the proper sequence to save the setting. Type
in the key combination you want at the bottom, use the drop down to
choose the action you want and then click the Set button, above and to
the right of those boxes. When the key action appears in the list,
you're OK to click Apply and then OK. If you forget to Set, it won't
save your choices.
