Do you ever do a find-replace (CTRL-F)? Or a compare source member? Both
will alter more lines than you might be expecting (compare alters *ALL*
lines!)
I'm wondering if there is some mileage in creating an RFE to allow
maintenance of the "mod mark" value through the toolbar. It would mean you
could change the mod mark on the fly, and also inhibit the marking when
required. Although, it would be nice if the source compare didn't change
the source date of every line whether you changed it yourself or not.

Ctrl-Z!
:)
That's only semi-silly - it may be what you need to do - IF that affects
the addition of these marks.

I am not sure if this is a bug in the RSE software, or I have "cockpittrouble". I often set up my preferences to add a "signature" (actually a
mod mark) via the Remote Systems/IBM iParsers setting. Most of the time
this works just great. However, every so often I am working with a source
member, and suddenly my mod mark is added to every single line on the
source member. I never want this to happen. I only want mod marks on the
lines I actually change.
In case anyone asks, I am on RDI Version: 9.0.1.
Any ideas?
