Try having a editor window open for a source member. Then go to the Edit
menu and click on the "Compare to a file..." item - this has the red and
yellow stuff.
There is even a button on the toolbar for this - the heavy "delta"
symbol in the group to the right of the macro buttons on the toolbar.
It's not a side-by-side comparison - and the "next change" button won't
find an addition - but the addition IS there in one of the colors -
yellow, I think.
I just tried it - it worked.

In contrast, when I highlight 2 members and say "compare with each
get nothing but gray on white. Because of the way whitespace is handled,"Compare
virtually every line is considered a "change." This is absurd.
In looking at Window/Preferences/LPEX editor/Appearance, I see this nifty
display where "Compare added" lines are highlighted in yellow and

whatsoever?
The iSphere compare editor is somewhat better, but everything is still

I must be missing something so basic and fundamental within RDi that I

Rant mode off.
