Yup, the help on the free-format works Great!
As a matter of fact, I just promoted 4 completely free format RPGLE objects today....
The PDF links, has the "What is new Section", that is very current...
The question is why doesn't the on-line help in RDI 9.0.1 have this same help?
The Info Center has this:
PDF file for Updated ILE RPG Language Reference:
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v7r1m0/topic/books/sc092508a.pdf
It has the following in the "What's New"
What's is New since 7.1?
What's new in 7.1?
The help in RDI 9, does NOT include that section...
Anyway, the "OVERALL" help inside of RDi 9 is VERY GOOD! I guess it is just missing help on the "What's new for in 7.1, and new since 7.1?"
That is the only point I actually meant to make...
I was just wondering if there happen to be an update for this, or is it not available in RDI 9.0.1
RDi Help-Files help me a lot on this new format! So, it works quit well with the position cursor and pressing F1=Help! <Joy Joy>
Hat off to all the great On-Line help inside RDI 9.0.1 <Big Smile>

I get help on free-form just putting the cursor on a statement and hitting F1. For example, I type dcl-s and hit F1 on it, and go right to the help section. I'm not using the local help, but using the default "Go to the web" defaults for help content in preferences. The address is as follows:
