× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Well, in 8.5.1 the command finishes in nanoseconds (it's only changing the
library list after all), so I doubt that's the problem.
But I will hopefully conduct more tests later this afternoon, including
userinstall (no-admin) and the 64-bit version. Maybe things will change
then.

I am back from vacation.
Please note that if you run any command in the command window that does

not

return immediately, it holds up the RSE host job, then any other calls to
the job (and refreshing the RSE would probably require this) would wait

for

the IBM i job to become free and that may be why you are not see the RSE
window repaint.
