Buck,

Windows 7
RDi 9.0.1
V7R1M0

Yes, I get the Pop-up menu with Shift+F10, but when I select it, I do not get the window to add the watch break point variable. Where I usually have to enter in the size to monitor...
(It worked in WDSC 6.0/7.0 RDP/RDI 7.5/7.5/8.0/8.5) But not RDi 9. <frown>

Ever since RDi 9.0 many of the pop-up functions do NOT work, it won't give me secondary options. Such as "Find Selected/Filter"...

RDI 9 has forced me to do the "Double-Take"/"Repeat Second time to work". So, on Find Selected/Filter, I have to do it TWICE, to bring up the second pop-up... The old "Dual Stroke" method... <Frown>

But, at least that does WORK! If it makes me do a double take/Dual Stroke... <LOL>

When I say the "Add breakpoint Monitor", I do not get a pop-up, nor does it show up in my break-points either...

I do NOT get an error, nor do I get the "Add Watch Breakpoint" window to pop-up. I get absolutely NOTHING...

Oh well, the "WATCH" still works in GREEN-SCREEN. For debugging anymore, it seems the old reliable Green-Screen is so much quicker for me, anyway, when I am trying to verify/find an error... <sadly>

PS. It always seems I have the most problems with the debug perspective in RDI, when that should be one of the main reasons to use an professional IDE... <frown>

The whole problem for me is that the POP-UP menu does NOT work! It hasn't worked since the first release of RDI 9.0 for me...

Since it works fine for me, I think we need a bit more info to work out what's happening with your set-up. When you say 'does not work' do you mean that you right click and nothing at all happens? Or you right click and 'Add Watch Breakpoint...' is greyed out? Or you right click, select 'Add Watch Breakpoint...' and no further dialogue occurs?

If it's the latter, make sure that you LEFT click on the variable, to put the editing cursor on it. Once you have done the left click, right click and use the context menu to Add Watch Breakpoint... This is the process that works for me.

How do you do this without the Pop-Up Menu? Since that does NOT WORK?

Use the cursor keys, place the cursor on the variable, Shift-F10. I get the context menu, type W then press Enter. When I press F8, I get the popup window telling me the variable has changed.
