You might have been talking about me. I removed the Aldon LM(i) plug in and reinstalled an update of it. While I haven't used RDi much since, when I have used it, the memory spike wasn't noticed.

You may wish to examine what 3rd party plugins you have installed. In another instance the user reported that removing some added plugins seemed to resolve his heap consumption issues. Unfortunately I don't know what plugins he had installed.

Yes, mine will not start up under about 148MB. Might be due to settings, numbver of connections, who knows?

Memory leakage? When mine gets up over about a gig of work space, it
usually just dies unceremoniously. I try to shut it down and restart
when
it climbs to 768M or so (a couple times a day). Do you have that
little memory monitor thing turned on? Mine's down in the right-hand corner.
Can't remember how it got there, but I had to DO something to get it...

I've been experiencing extremely slow response time in RDi. The
editor is a little sluggish and opening dialog boxes has been
painfully slow--at times taking almost a minute to simply get the
dialog asking if I want to save the member when I've requested a
compile.

I've been very puzzled about it until today. I run Process Explorer
from Microsoft SysInternals. It shows me the priority on the
eclipse for RDi was set to 'Background: 4 (Low I/O and Memory
Priority). I bumped it up and response was much better. However,
things seemed to slow down after a while. Checking the process
priority, I found it set back down to Background....

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this and how to
prevent
it?
