When I do CTRL+SHIFT+M it loads the highlight variable into the add Monitor Variable...

Wish my company had purchased support...

My debugger expert tells me that there is a PMR open on not being able to add to monitor view from a selection within the editor for large files.
If that is not your issue, then we would need a PMR to diagnose your scenario.
