Darren, you are right on. By dropping SWMA, it will end up costing them
more in the long term. I am sure those that manage the budget would not
let SWMA lapse on the hardware just to same some money.

From a budget perspective, it might be a good idea to sell "Maintenance"

so
you're not having to beg for each version upgrade.
