I had the same concerns. I found that if you go ahead and download it with the IM, it recognizes that you already have it and doesn't reinstall it. Yes, it would make more sense to point you to a repository like the FAQ said it would do, but known was provided.

I have been poking around the IBM web site for a while now looking for Data Studio 4.1. I would really just like to have the Installation Manager repository location, but I can't find that anywhere. The download for 4.1 makes me install Installation Manager again and the included repository is for Data Studio 3.2 not 4.1.

Can anyone enlighten me? I have RDi 9.0 and would like to try out Data Studio. BTW, I have version 1.7 of Installation Manager.
