You can access MKS with RDI without the plugins. MKS provides some PDM
type commands that you can run to checkout, compile, and promote. Mainly I
just want the compile. You can set these up as user actions and compile
actions in RDi. That's what I'm experimenting with right now, and so far
its going pretty well.

As an example: (You may have to prompt the command to get it to work,
that's why I'm still experimenting)
MKSIM/ICOMPPDM MBROBJ(&N) LIBRARY(&L) OBJTYPE(*NONE) SRCF(&F) LIBENV(&L)
WDSC(*EVENTF)

Yeah, our support people won't provide the MKS plugin to us yet because it
isn't certified.  Guess that's a good thing, since I'm trying to herd a
bunch of newbies onto RDi.

I have the Softlanding plugin installed, along with several others
(iSphere, midrange.com, etc.), and as stated before, I don't have this
problem.

I found the issue after a nice person at IBM told me what Dave also told
me, that its only happening for me.  So, I uninstalled both my Softlanding
extension plugins, and MKS Implementer plugins.  After that, the library
list issue went away, even with my current workspace.  So, I put just the
MKS Plugin back on, and didn't activate it to the connection.  The issue
was back.  In MKS's defense, they do not support these plug-ins at RDI 9,
and I went ahead anyway.  They mostly work, and this is the first issue I
found.

Darren,

When I right-click and connect, I get the library list defined for the
connection in all cases on 9.0.0.1, whether I have it set to call a program
to set the list or have the libraries to add specified in the connection.
Maybe your workspace has an issue?  Have you tried starting up with -clean?

In RDI 9, If I right-click on a connection and hit 'Connect' the connection
is created with my user profile's default library list despite the settings
on the connection.  If I open the connection by navigating to a filter,
then the connection starts with the correct library list.  Do I need to
open a PMR, or is there a good reason for it being like this?
