The important "Trick" is select the check-box for "Do not upgrade. Run a new install" for the T100 software.

Then later in the install process of the T100 (Turnover Client Software). You should get a selection of the Rational Developer to use...

For instances, I get these check-boxes:

" " Standalone Turnover for iSeries V100 client
" " IBM Rational Developer for Power system software 8.0.3.1
" " IBM Rational Developer for Power system software 8.0.3.1
"X" IBM Rational Developer for i - 9.0.0.0

I manually selected RDI 9.0, the bottom line...
(check-box is CHECKED)

Then my object history, Archive source, and check-out works!

*************************************************************

On the "FREE" RSE Plug-in, I just re-ran the "SoftLanding Extensions for RSE - Version 7.5.0". And it also allowed me to select which version of Rational Developer:
" " IBM Rational Developer for Power system software 8.0.3.1
" " IBM Rational Developer for Power system software 8.0.3.1
"X" IBM Rational Developer for i - 9.0.0.0

Note: I am currently on Window 7 64-bit.
:)

PS. I guess there is a way to install the free plug-in WITHOUT re-running the installation, if it is installed already. But, I always re-run the installation module, and that works for me!

I wasn't able to get the free plug-in V7.5 to work with RDi 9.0. We're using the 64 bit version of RDi in case that makes a difference. Is your setup similar, and did they work for you? My first indication of a possible problem, was that during install, it tried to identify what version of RDi I was on, and it was just a blank beside the check box.

Hi,

I have been a user of SoftLanding/Turnover for over 20-years. This is a 3rd party change management tool. The Plug-in for RDP 7.5 works great on RDi
9.0 with no problems!

I do NOT work for Softlanding/Turnover, just a very satisfied user of their software package. Which I have used in WDSC 6.0/7.0 RDi 7.5/7.6 and RDP 8.0/8.5. And now inside of RDi 9.0

And as other have already mentioned, I have used their Free RSE plugs-in for viewing spool files. Which I love over the default.
