Folks:
I'm pleasantly surprised to report that, at least initially, RDi 9.0
appears to be compatible with plug-in's that interact with the Remote
System Explorer and are currently compatible with RDi 7.5.
Obviously this isn't a blanket statement or a guarantee of compatibility
... all vendors that provide Rational Developer plug-in's need to run
appropriate certification tests to ensure all functionality works.
<vendor note>I work for PTC, makes of Implementer, which includes a
Rational Developer plug-in.</vendor note>
