Jeff,

If you have active maintenance agreements, there are a variety of
'entitlements' for the new products/versions.

http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/rep_ca/2/897/ENUS213-132/index.html#h2-descx
has details.

Snippet:
Clients who hold entitlements to the old offerings with active maintenance
agreements, will become entitled to the new offerings as follows:

Rational Developer for Power Systems Software RPG and COBOL Development
Tools for i:
Client will receive a 1-for-1 entitled migration to Rational
Developer for i RPG and COBOL Tools
Equivalent product capabilities
V9.0 enhancements

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,
Do we need to purchase a new license for RDi 9.0?

Thanks,

See the following for some of the details of the new releases:

For RDi 9.0, the Fix List shows the large number of APARs and RFEs
resolved:

Web pages to download trials will be made available but are not live yet.
License activation kits from previous releases do not work with the 9.0
releases.

Thanks,
Eric
