Hi Mark,
I'm not familiar with the first issue, but am familiar with the 2nd and the 2nd one they have addressed for the upcoming release in June (if it hasn't been delayed).

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Field usage missing from Outline in 8.5.1
Just downloaded RDP 8.5.1 for I trial new to a laptop that has never had WDSC, RD, or eclipse on it. OS is Windows 7. Installed not as administrator because I do not have that password. But the install was smooth as far as I could tell.
But I have a few issues, both with the outline view.
1) the outline view in previous versions would show me at a glance which file fields were used, and where they are used. Both in the files branch, and in the fields branch. A plus sign next to a field used to indicate that it had some line numbers under it, now I see nothing in the files branch which is a major performance issue for me when determining impact of a change. Even in the Fields branch the little carrot doe not always appear, and even when it does, there is no telling whether it is accurate unless you open it up and look.
2) the outline view does not seem to understand the like keyword on a D spec. Both fields defined LIKE another field in a very small program show Unknown(0) as the field type.
