Last week my PC was upgraded to Windows 7. I installed RDP in 64-bit mode and added a plug in, Aldon LM(i).
Every morning since then it seems to have forgotten my configurations. I have to reestablish my connection to the development system (right click IBM i, click New Connection...). It remembers the Aldon LM(i) plug in, but not the filters I established under it as well. All my customizations I made through Windows, Preferences are lost (I turn on the Heap Status for example due to the ongoing memory issue, and that disappears).
I narrowed it down a little further, as I do reboot my PC at night. I tried rebooting this morning and same thing happened, so I'm not sure why it forgets my setups. Anyone else have this problem?
One possible idea is that the configurations are stored somewhere (files) yet when I reboot, our system policies don't capture/save that information. But I don't know where to start there just yet.
Anyone with some guidance on this? It only takes about five minutes to reset the basic stuff, longer for other more specific customization setting changes, so I would like to avoid having to do this every morning...
