What's the link for the RFE about migrating filters?

Jon, I really can't explain why you would see any difference in behaviour with CA, and outline view/COPY if the live model is disabled.
I can't reproduce it either, so a PMR would be the right way to go.
For just your own info, why don't you try a new workspace and see if the problems go away. Then you will know if it is Rdp 8.5.1 or your workspace that is at fault.
As to migrating filters that is a pain for lots of people and I hope people are voting for that RFE.

My $.02 is that the memory leak and content assist issues mentioned

all
due to the new live model that is supporting live outline view and
live content assist and hovers.
If you have 8.5.1 installed you can turn off the live outline view
using the Preference on Remote Systems->IBM i Parsers->ILE RPG "Update
the Outline view when text is changed in the editor". There is a
shortcut to the preference right in the outline view toolbar.
Once the live model is disabled, your outline view and RPG editing
experience will be pretty well identical to what you got in 8.0.3.

If you disable the live model I recommend trying it out again in the
next version of RDp as it will continue to improve in robustness and features.

I have disabled the live outline refresh Edmund - but it hasn't affected other issues. In fact the only thing it did was stop the memory leak as best I can see and I had already partially dealt with that by enabling the little garbage can cleanup feature which seemed to help.

Content Assist might as well not be there right now. Outline even when manually refreshed "misses" stuff from /COPY members. Compiles are much slower and verify I have just had to give up on completely - for me that is a problem because with my travel schedule I am often coding when connecting is not practical or not fast enough to be useful. As I noted in a post the other day I am seeing Verify run for minutes even when there is only a single file in use and it has been cached. I have frequent "Not responding"
situations - usually self-resolving if I am patient enough. There are days when I can wait 10 - 15 seconds just to get a context menu to appear. I would love to try a new workspace but I have so many projects/connections/filters that I am loathe to do that.
