The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Yes, that fixed it and good information. I always wondered what was the cause. I usually just go back to the green screen to compile and check but I'm trying to get out of the habit of going back to the green screen as much as possible.
Thanks

When I run Verify in RDP 8.5 sometimes I get "External descriptions for file not found" and "the name or indicator is not defined" messages but they are defined and the files are in libraries that's in my library list. Also when I compile it in RDP or in a 5250 Green Screen session it compiles normally without errors.
So if anyone know how I can fix this or what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it.
Have you selected "Refresh Cache"? When a verify is run it uses the cache by default. If at any time it genuinely could not find the file (perhaps it had yet to be compiled) it appears that it makes a "Not found" cache entry. To me this is silly but it appears to be the way it works. if you select Verify With Prompt you will have the option to set the refresh option and that should fix it.
