I believe it has to do with your library list. You can configure RDP to add these libraries to your list on startup (I can't recall how it's done right now), or you can add them manually on the Commands Log tab using the ADDLIBLE command.

RDP probably doesn't know where the file is located, so you have to tell it. Depends on your shop's configuration.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Verify - External descriptions for file not found, file is ignored.

When I run Verify in RDP 8.5 sometimes I get "External descriptions for file not found" and "the name or indicator is not defined" messages but they are defined and the files are in libraries that's in my library list. Also when I compile it in RDP or in a 5250 Green Screen session it compiles normally without errors.

So if anyone know how I can fix this or what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it.
