The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I have this happen all the time, with the exception that re-opening the member brings content-assist back (via ctrl-space, I had only just recently learned of the menu option). I have a PMR open for what I'm experiencing, although it sounds like you are dealing with it in a more critical fashion. The loss of ctrl-space is something that would send me screaming to PMR land.
I'm at 8.5.1.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this.
Ctr + Spacebar seems to be mapped as it should be but the only way I can get content assist to work is from the edit menu pull-down is is just not practical. This applies even BIFs so I don't think it is outline related but tried refreshing anyway - no joy. Also tried restart with no effect.
Running 8.5 with fix pack.
