what to do when remote system explorer is grayed out? -- WDSCI-L

I am running version 8.0.3 On ibm I v7r1.

A few days ago, when I started, my remote system explorer was missing. I usually have a debug/remote system explorer icon in the upper right. I click on rse and I am on my way

Today it is greyed out.

I was able to start it by clicking window, open perspective. But the upper right icon is stlll grayed out.

Any suggestions?
