There is a preference
Preferences -> Run/Debug -> IBM i Debug -> Terminate debug session on
program completion
Please uncheck it. Then for all the new debug launch configuration, this
preference will be used.

For any existing debug launch configurations, you can uncheck using Launch
Configuration dialog by click on the triangle drop down beside the Bug icon
in toolbar and choose Debug Configurations...

We have a problem debugging some of our interactive programs as they are
called multiple times performing different sections of the programs each
time. The program remains active but
when they return to the calling program the debug is terminated and then it
is reinitiated when the program is called again.
Is there a way to keep the debug session open until the program is actually
terminated.
I want it to work the same way as a normal debug from a green screen using
STRDBG.
We're are using 8.5.

Thanks
